Scaredy Cat The witches and goublins have a meeting tonight Getting together making plans for Halloween night Skeletons, Monsters are walking, when no one’s in sight Coming soon on this dark spooky Halloween night The witches are stirring up their witches brew They can’t hardly wait to say boo to YOU! Drucula will be waiting in the alley ways, to grab you Watch out for he’ll come out and suck the blood out of you Spiders are hanging and dangling from the old oak trees Weaving their webs out of silky threads for you and me Scary black cats meowing, getting ready to pounch on you Be careful of the bridges, for the trogs will eat you! Don’t stop, don’t talk to the man with the chain saw in hand ‘cause he ain’t gonna give ya a chance to run in the sand He’ll buzz away, scaring the day light out of you! If he catches you, off your legs and arms and more too! One more warning before I leave this place The men with the big trucks that cut up the trees Watch out if your wearing brown with green leaves They’ll toss you in and as fast as can be You’ll be splatter all over, blood and guts a horrified you’ll be As you exit this night mare of things in the past Say your prays; for Halloween night might be your last I think I will close this horrifying scaredy cat poem ‘Cause it’s making me sick and I want to go home Please be careful, be aware of strange things you see For Halloween night, just ain’t what it use to be!!! © Peggy 10-30-07 |
