Rough Roads Of Life

Before the calls come by scores; by telephone
Few silent moments which I could not be attacked
the day comes in with quests that are stacked
Quite moments to breathe, to think, to be alone

Will love seep into visions of a starry night
And still the road I elapsed on with a fight?

Whatever the wild winds blow in and bring
My attention turns to a harden grey stone
Placed on the rough road for this soul alone
I’ll bring cherished memories of songs to sing
