Castle Of Fun Part 1 of 3 Morning

Anxiously waiting in line to leave all our troubles behind
Entering the castle of fun with a dear one, whom I loved
Never knew it’d be the last time, for fun and laughter we’d partake
***

The draw bridge opened on time
Looked down at swans swimming below
A refreshing sight to start the morn
Before entering the castle to see and hear
what laughter and fun it would bring
We entered that morn with the excited crowd

Thrilled with thoughts of the sites and rides within
Listening to the trotting of the horses hooves
Taking us in the carriage down park avenue
Dropping us off at the start of the shops
Of freshly made candy, souvenirs and magical stores
thought we’d shop before we left the castle that eve

We walked down the main street taking in all the view
Theaters, cafes and bars that lined the street
Many people strolling along whistling and humming
Each having a smile, no frowns where to be found
As they listened to the music played by the bands
Surrounded by love and laughter each step of the way

We walked down a cobblestone street
Entered the café for pancakes and bacon strips
Amused at the pancakes, designed like tigers or a mouse
Enjoying the start of a wonderful morning
Smiling, talking with people like we had known them for years
Sitting back relaxing, enjoying the company of strangers at ease

Cameras were flashing everywhere
Artist were painting pictures of children’s faces
in the bodies of silly looking animals
While other artists were painting on children’s faces
So many amusing and delightful things to see
On our way to the amusement park that morn

Standing in lines conversing with all nationalities
Some wearing their traditional clothing of their land
Passing time waiting to ride all the rides offered
We were in the land of kiddies rides, we road each and every one
From carousels, to riding ships in the dark twinkling night
It was fun to be in a frame of a child’s mind that morn___
