I'm so excited about Christmas day
I heard Santa was on his way
He left the north pole at a quarter two three
he should be arriving to our chimney
I've been a good girl all year long...almost
He'll be giving out presents from coast to coast
Shhhh!! I think I hear him up on the roof
I heard the sound of the reindeers hoof
I left some cookies and milk for him
I hope he enjoys everyone of them
I think I see a black boot
I see something red it must be his suit
It's him...I see him close by the tree
I sure hope he leaves lots of presents for me
He’s turned out the light...I guess he’s done
Oh NO...Oh No...he just left one
Come back here Santa this can't be all
I know I asked for a heart and a Barbie doll
I hear Santa and the reindeers walking around
Mommy...Mommy Santa fell and he’s on the ground
Mommy rushed outside and to my surprise
I saw a twinkling in Santa Claus's eyes
Mommy came in and said hes okay
and she said that Santa is going to stay
I was so happy he didn't get hurt
he looked so jolly and a short little squirt
I better lay down 'cause I'm so sleepy
I know that morning will come quickly
I smell the coffee dad and mommy likes to drink
I got up from my bed and Santa was gone in a blink
They both looked so happy...I wanted to know why
Mommy turned and said Santa dropped this from the sky
It was the letter I wrote Santa at his house in the snow
I had written that my mommy needs a new
heart 'cause the one she has is starting to go
Santa came back that afternoon
He said my mommy will have a new heart soon
I knew that there was a real Santa after all
Now Mommy is better and I got my Barbie doll
